There is much in the philosophy and practice of J. L. Moreno that can support the work of playback theatre and other interactive theatre facilitators. This course will focus on key topics of spontaneity (readiness and appropriate action) and sociometry (group dynamics and issues of inclusion). You will learn exercises to help train actors' role flexibility and maintain a positive group process. You will also learn how to draw the line between theatre and therapy. Especially useful for practitioners without a formal therapeutic background.
