This workshop offers a dual focus on performance and conducting. As actors, students will practice expressing themselves physically and vocally; acquiring a clear, grounded sense of the most important playback forms; becoming confident with staging; and learning how to give and take focus on stage. As conductors, you’ll learn basic questions to ask in the interview and practice building rapport with different types of audiences. You’ll also learn how to build the all-important playback theatre ritual. There will also be plenty of time to play together and exchange stories in a warm-hearted atmosphere.

Acting and Conducting is level two of our core program

Prerequisite: Core Training, or its equivalent
