In this course you will learn the basic conductor's skill set, from inviting stories from the audience, to asking the right questions of the teller, to giving staging instructions to actors, to following the arc of the performance. You will practice the balance of artistic sensibility, connecting, and ritual that makes the conductor's role so important in successful playback theatre. We’ll also be telling our own stories, acting, playing music, and just playing.
