In this workshop for advanced practitioners we will break down the “magic” in playback theatre, studying the horizontal connections between stories (red thread) and the vertical connections (moment-to-moment group factors). We will explore what’s actually happening when a show falls flat or goes completely off-track, and we’ll study what skills the playback team (conductor, actors, musician) can use to maximize the chance for a wonderful performance.

Prerequisite:Advanced Intensive or with permission from Jonathan Fox
