COMPANY TUNE-UPS 

Every PT company, no matter how often it performs, can benefit from an occasional infusion of knowledge, and in that spirit the Centre for Playback Theatre is promoting a new program called Company Tune-ups.

These are special trainings from 1-3 days on pt performance skills. Each Tune-up will include
pre-training consultation and post-training evaluation.

Topics include:

• Reviving fluid sculptures and expanding their usefulness
   

• Narrative short forms
   

• When and why to use different forms
   

• Warming up audience to rich stories
   

• Getting the essence
   

• Keeping the ritual frame of acting a story
   

• How to make the most of playback music
   

• Hearing the social dimension
   

• Closing collage

We will send an approved teacher who is either on the Centre training faculty or a highly experienced pt performer.
