Our Mission
![]() The Centre for Playback Theatre's purpose is to: Encourage and foster individual human rights and community dialogue through personal improvisational theatre by facilitating the narration of diverse opinions, recollections and stories; listening; empathy; vitality; and hope. Provide comprehensive training in playback theatre. Advocate for and promote the application playback theatre in the pursuit of the foregoing purposes by coordinating, facilitating, and providingassistance relative to resource development, management and conservation; program development; public advocacy; and administrative support.
